Holiday home Mimice
This charming stone house is positioned on the very top of the village of Mimice only 500 metres from the sea and with splendid views. The village is about 35 minutes south of Split and full of old stone buildings and narrow cobbled streets.
A shop is about 300m from the property and in the village is a good traditional restaurant called "Carevi Dvori" which specialises in fish, prosciutto (smoked ham), cheese and excellent wine.
At the coast 500m from the property, are two long pebble beaches plus bars and restaurants (may be closed out of season). You can also drive to Brela and Makarska, 15 and 20 minutes respectively, for more beaches, restaurants and nightlife. From there you can take ferries to the islands of Brac and Hvar for day trips. Nearby at Radmanove Mlinice on the River Cetina, you can enjoy rafting and canoeing. You should explore the old centre of Split, or further north visit the delightful centre of Trogir with its beautiful old buildings and excellent choice of restaurants.

This lovely stone house is surrounded by a big garden with a 7.5m x 3.5m swimming pool and an outside shower; from here you will enjoy the splendid sea views. Also here is an outdoor dining table and chairs for 10 plus barbecue - a perfect setting for preparing and enjoying your evening meals.
The house is on two levels. You enter from the garden and covered terrace into the living/dining area; this has air-conditioning, a sofa, plus dining table and chairs. Open-plan to this is the kitchen with cooker, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. Off the living/dining area is a shower room/WC with washing machine. On the right is a corridor off which is a shower room/WC and four bedrooms - one double and three with 2 single beds which can be converted into double beds.
From the main terrace steps lead down to the garden level and the ground floor. This has a living/dining room with TVplus DVD, a double sofabed, armchair, sofa, fireplace plus dining table and chairs; adjacent is another kitchen with cooker and fridge. On the right is a shower room/WC. Special reduced prices for groups of 4 or less outside July and August.
Getting there: Saturday arrival at Split. Drive 1 hour 20 minutes.
