Holiday home in Kali
This beautiful and comfortable villa is located on the edge of a charming fishing village of Kali on the island of Ugljan, which is less than 30 minutes ferry ride away from the historic centre of Zadar. During the summer its narrow cobbled streets come to life when restaurants and cafés bustle with activity.
You will find excellent restaurants on the island, we recommend going to the village of Kukljica, 5 minutes drive away. There you will find restaurants 'Kod barba Tome' and 'Stari Mlin' both serving delicious fish. In Kali itself (2 minutes from the villa) you will find restaurant Franov, another fish restaurant, and a couple of cafés and bars around the little harbour. Kali has a post office, several food and grocer´s shops and a butcher; and only 500 metres from the property is a lovely beach perfect for swimming and sunbathing.
The villa is entered through the hall on the ground floor where one double bedroom and a shower room/WC with a washing machine are situated. Stairs lead up an air-conditioned living room with sofa and armchairs, satellite TV and DVD and a glass sliding door to a sunny sitting out terrace with sea views. The living room also has a dining area which is open-plan to the kitchen which is fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge, electric hob and oven.
Stairs lead up to the next level with two double bedrooms with air-conditioning, a twin bedroom and a bathroom/WC with corner jacuzzi bath. From this level stairs lead to the top terrace with lovely views of the surrounding countryside and sea.
A 8m x 4m swimming pool with a separate kids pool area is located at the back of the house. The garden surrounding the villa is well kept and planted with olives and various Mediterranean trees and shrubs.
Saturday arrival at Split. Transit by road/ferry 2 hours 20 minutes. , Zadar airport 30 minutes.
