Pool villa Dubrovnik

This property is in a secluded location in an area called Kono-Ilijina Glavica, away from tourist crowds, but amazingly just 1km and an easy walk from Dubrovnik old town. It is hidden from the street with its own enclosed garden. Walk through the old streets of Kono and via descending stone stairways you come to Pile the best area for boutiques, shops, bars and restaurants. From here you can walk along the top of the old city's ramparts and have a bird's eye view of this magnificent medieval centre and its old red roofs and church towers. The main square or “Stradum” is also right here around which are beautiful old stone buildings. This is a cultural centre with lot of exhibitions in the galleries and museums as well as outdoor festival during the summer months. Between the Church of Saint Vlaho the patron of Dubrovnik on the one side and old stone water fountain on the other there are many excellent restaurants such as “Proto”, “Gilles” , “Arsenal” and “Dundo Maroje”. You can also enjoy the color-full fruit, vegetable and fish markets in the mornings. Only 5 minutes walk from “Stradun” is the most popular pebble beach in Dubrovnik called Banje. From the main harbor in Dubrovnik old town (10-15 minutes walk from property) there are regular boat excursions to the Lokrum Island with lovely swimming spots and walks. If you want to explore the Islands of Sipan, Lopud, Kolocep or go to the Island of Mljet and its National Park, there are regular ferries from Gruz ferry port only 3km from the house.

The villa is a spacious and well equipped modern house with private parking with enough space enough for 3 cars is just beside it. The property has a spacious plot of 700m2 and is approached through the large well cared for garden which surrounds the house and features a pond with exotic fishes. A swimming pool (heated out of season) is in front of the house and measures 9.5m x 4m, with outside shower, sun loungers and parasols.You entered via a covered terrace with a barbecue, outdoor table and chairs into an open plan living/dining area; this has a sofa, two armchairs, coffee table and satellite LCD TV, DVD, Hi-Fi, and wireless internet access. In the same area is a dining table and chairs to seat 10 adjacent to which is a separate fully equipped kitchen with cooker, oven, fridge, dishwasher, and microwave. On the same floor is a double bedroom, shower room/wc and a separate wc. Upstairs on the first floor are two twin bedrooms, two double bedrooms, a shower room/wc and a bathroom/wc. Also there is utility room with washing machine/dryer and iron. The whole house is air conditioned.
